Q : Will the color of the printed book match 100% with the original color of my book artwork?
A : No. According to known facts in the printing industry, 100% process color accuracy is not currently possible with current printing technology.
Q : What is the difference between RGB and CMYK color formats?
A : RGB and CMYK are two color modes used by graphic designers for different purposes. RGB, which stands for Red-Green-Blue, is optimal for digital images displayed on screens like computers, TVs, tablets, or smartphones. CMYK, short for Cyan-Magenta-Yellow-Black, is used for designs intended for print. RGB files must be converted to CMYK before printing, as printing presses cannot reproduce RGB colors.
Q : What is the file format of bookworks accepted by ULTIMATE PRINT SDN BHD?
Ultimate Print Sdn Bhd : We accept artwork in Adobe Acrobat Document (PDF) only.
Q : What is a bleed?
A : Bleed refers to printing that extends beyond the edge of where the sheet will be trimmed. Essentially, the bleed area is the portion that will be cut off. It provides a small margin to accommodate the natural movement of the paper during trimming and any design inconsistencies. Artwork and background colors often extend into this bleed area. Example your artwork is (w)210 x (h) 297 mm you should create document with add bleed 5mm all edges (top, bottom, left, right) = (w)220 x (h)307 mm.
Additionally, be mindful of the safety area on your document. Since most pieces are printed on larger sheets and then cut, ensure that no text or important graphics are too close to the edge.
Q : What resolution should be used for graphics and photos?
A : Graphics and photos should be at least 300 dpi to avoid appearing grainy in print. A photo that looks good on your screen, which has a resolution of 72 dpi, might not print well.
Q : How do I upload my files for my order?
i. Please make sure you give a full access/permission to open your PDF file format.
ii. Simple steps :

iii. We are likely advise to submit your PDF file in WeTransfer or Google Drive

A : We will inform you of shipping fee according to the weight of the book in the box. The charge includes the packing process.
